December 1st - 2 months!!

Its hard to believe that Shea and Wes are already 2 months (adjusted age 2.5 weeks).  It is crazy to look back that all that has happened in those 2 months.  Wes spent 19 days in the NICU and entered the world at 6 lbs and 19 inches long.  At today's checkup he is 10 lbs 10 oz's (26th percentile), 23 inches long (54th percentile) based on normal charts, and his head which we think is so big is only in the 17th percentile.  He also is now able to see things and smiles when you hold him and talk to him!!  Shea spent 31 days in the NICU and entered the world at 3 lbs 4 oz's and 17 inches long.  At today's checkup she is 7 lbs 2oz's (.44 percentile -just made the chart) and height of 20.5 inches is in the .02 percentile  .  Both babies received shots today including the synergy shot.  They did very well so far and only cried when the shots were given.   I also started back to work yesterday and the babies stayed home with Dad.  It is so nice that Rob is able to stay home with them as I don't worry when I leave them.  I had a full day of meetings yesterday so it wasn't so bad.  I do think it will be different on the days I sit in the models and no one comes out (usually during the week when most people are working).

Here are some 2 month pics from today (not seen in these pictures is the fact that Shea had a blowout during this and it even got on Wes!!).  I put one 1 month photo for comparison - hard to believe Shea was still in the hospital in this one and now they are both home!!

For Comparison

I love how they are holding hands here!!
