As you can see - I am a little behind in updating the blog - we have had a very busy last couple of months but my goal for 2013 is to be more on top of this!! October was filled with Shea and Wes turning 1 on the 1st (I did get a post on that done), a trip to Vala's (got that one done to), and then lots of time outdoors, a transition to big kid beds (Ok so they are mattresses on the floor).  The transition to big kid beds (Twin size) went rather smoothly - they both stay in them throughout the night.  Shea does get out of bed though and will stand next to the door talking for a little while usually and then gets back into bed.  Wes ALWAYS stays in bed.  He will just yell "MOM" "DAD" until we come get him out.  Shea on the other hand does not like to stay in bed at nap time if there are toys out in her room.  So Wes's room is full of toys and Shea's are in her closet.

First trip to the Dentist at Smile Station - Shea and Wes loved it and did very well.  I took them by myself and the trains keep them entertained (There is a big train in the back area that goes around the room).

 

 

Shea and Wes also love to play games on the tablet.  They love to play Monkey Preschool, trains, etc.  It keeps them entertained for quite a while.

At the end of October Shea, Wes, and I went to the Children's museum with Nana, Aunt Jenny, Tyler, Niki, Joey, and Mattie.  They had lots of fun as they always do!!

For Halloween this year Shea and Wes were Jesse and Woody from Toy Story - they love the movie and it was so fun to dress them as something that goes together (who knows how long that will last!!).  We had fun trick or treating with Uncle Kevin, Will, and Jed.  We only went down one street but it was more than enough candy!!

Wes is also pretty much potty trained (just number 2 to get down) - we haven't tried it too much when venturing out except to family.  We will work on that in 2013.  Here are some random October photos:
