February 2011
Shea and Wes have had a very busy February. Rob went back to work for the Union as a Plumber. He is currently at Mainelli. So Shea and Wes have had more Mom time and have been going to daycare about 2 half days a week. We have also continued to do PE 101 a couple times with the help of Aunt Laura and are going to continue that as Shea and Wes really like it. We also played in the snow. The first time was not very successful and took longer to get ready than play. The second time Wes really liked sledding and Shea liked to "walk" in the snow. Shea and Wes continue to love to climb on everything, they love to dance, and know what "music" means and where it comes from (the radio and tv). It is also not very easy to take pictures of them any more - they are always on the go!! They also love to do puzzles now and are getting good at putting "shapes" in the correct spot. They are becoming a little more picky at eating but love strawberries, kiwi, avocado, pizza, grill cheeses just to name a few things. They still have also never had pop or candy (except when Rob & I were in Mexico) and I hope to keep it that way for as long as I can :).

January 2012
January has been flying by. We were able to enjoy a nice trip to the Zoo with Shea and Wes. They loved seeing all the animals and I can't wait for future trips with them to the zoo. They also love to dance now!! They have some great moves and entertain Rob and I for hours on end. Rob & I have also been "potty training" Shea and Wes. I know it is a little early but they do great and hopefully they will be potty trained by about 18 months or so. They are starting to interact more and I can't wait to see how it goes.
15 month Check Up:
Shea and Wes also had their 15 month check up on January 5th. Wes was 28 lbs 10 oz's and 33.8" tall. He continues to be in the 80-90th percentile for weight and off the charts for height. Shea was 19 lbs 12 oz's (I was hoping she would be over 20) and 30.5" for height. Her weight is in the 8th percentile and her height is in the 50th percentile (her height has continued to go up nicely).
They also both love to climb on everything and anything. Shea is so graceful (I think her size has the most to do with it) and has incredible control of her body, Wes on the other hand . . . . . . ;). Wes loves to play baseball, they both love to go for walks, play in their cozy coupes, and play in their tent with tunnel. They also love to read books now as well. They continue to go to bed between 7-8 and sleep until about 7-7:30 a.m. They have not been to daycare since my last day at Charleston Homes - October 28th, so we took them on Thursday for a half day. They did really well. We will keep doing that for the next couple of weeks as Rob will possibly be going back to work for Waldinger (his old Union employer) in February. Rob has enjoyed his time at home with them, but I know he is ready to go back to work!!
PE 101:
We went to PE 101 today. Shea and Wes loved playing around and we will be going more often to open gym now - they have it once a week on Wednesday mornings.

Christmas Eve - 2011
We celebrated Christmas Eve as we always do - With the Weber's at our house!!! :) We enjoyed Pizza, dip, chips, etc. There was lots of activity as always and an attempt at a picture with all the cousins :) Shea received a doll for the bath, a picnic basket with fun toys and Wes received a basketball game for the tub and a Helicopter. Shea and Wes both received a tunnel with tent to play with. They can't wait to see what Santa brings them :) We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and are grateful for all our family and friends.
