Shea has decided to become mobile. She has been rolling over (both ways) all morning - the days of it being easy with both, I think, have come to and end. We have been looking forward to and dreading this day for sometime now - our lives have just got a lot more interesting (and we are loving every minute of it). Sorry for the sideways pics - I need to figure out how to turn them on and don't have time right now!!
The journey of our lives with the two best Blessings Ever - Shea & Wes. Shea and Wes joined our family October 1, 2010. They joined Porter and Winston our boston terriers to give us a complete family.

Tooth
Just a short and sweet update - Wes got his first tooth on Saturday April 16th, 2011- it broke through the gum - he has another one right next to it that will be coming through soon. Also aunt Jenny took some pictures of them last week (although they did not cooperate very well).

Twins x 2
Shea and Wes are not the first set of twins for the Turner Family. Sadie and Simon are Shea and Wes's Twin Cousins. Their birthday is actually November 15th which was Shea and Wes's due date (although they decided to come a little early). Sadie and Simon are 10 years old. Sadie and Simon came over last Saturday night to babysit Shea and Wes while Rob and I went bowling for a work function. We had a great time and so did the cousins :)

6 months - April Fools!!
So April Fools day brought Shea and Wes turning 6 months - and nope its not a Joke!! It is so crazy to realize they are half way to turning 1 already. It has gone by way to fast - we absolutely have loved every minute though and look forward to many more. Shea & Wes went in for the 6 month check up and received a clean bill of health (aside from runny noses and coughs). Wes is 27.75" tall (90th percentile) and weighs 18.5 lbs (less than we thought he would be!!) - which is in the 68th percentile. Shea is 25.5" tall (43rd percentile - a 20 percent increase from last time!!) and weighs 12 lbs 10 oz's (3rd percentile). They both did great with their shots. Once we got home Wes started to run a fever and just wanted to be held (so although he was sick - I loved every minute of my little guy snuggling with me). They also ate carrots for the first time. Wes and Shea both did very well with them (Shea still does not like cereal - I think it is a texture thing). They slept just fine at night though and Wes no longer has a fever :)
